Mother's Day is upon us and we know in your busy lives, it's hard to plan the right things to do with mom to show her that you care. Sure, a visit with a card and some flowers is nice. Even a phone call or FaceTime would make most moms extremely happy, but let's step it up this year. Here are five fun things to do around Northern Colorado that mom will love!

Get Mom A Massage

Maybe this one's too easy, but a massage is something I can almost guarantee you that your mom will greatly appreciate. Being pampered and relaxed in pure silence is heaven for most moms. I know my wife goes monthly to Massage Heights because we all need a little self-care in our lives. Some just won't invest in themselves, so do it for them!

Take Mom Bowling

It's a fun easy thing to get out and do with the whole family, and crazy springtime in Colorado weather won't ever be a factor. Hit up Chippers, or Summit with Mom but be sure you let her win though, or else.

Make Or Paint Pottery

My wife took my son and me to a place called Color Me Mine In Westminster a few months ago and we had a great time. You go in, pick a piece of pottery (dishes, piggy banks, art, etc.), and paint it however you like. My wife loved it, we all did. Could be something fun and different to do with mom this year.

Brewery Tour

If your mom likes beer but has never been on one of Northern Colorado's many amazing brewery tours, here's your chance to really surprise her. Make a reservation quickly though as these are extremely popular in Fort Collins and Northern Colorado as a whole.

Shopping

This one is easy, but you'd be surprised how many people don't think to do this on Mother's Day, or any holiday for that matter. You get quality time and they get to pick out gifts they actually want. Win-win.
