According to a Monday (May 23) Instagram post from 9News anchor Kyle Clark, the fan and her mother were entering the venue when a member of Combs' security team stopped to let them know the singer was approaching. The fan's grandmother told Clark what happened next:
My daughter and granddaughter then seen [sic] Luke, it was like a dream my granddaughter wanted a picture with him and he replied of course. While trying to hold her phone steady due to shaking she dropped her phone, Luke then replies honey it's ok calm down, breath. He was so understanding and relaxed with her.
