Only into its second year, Loveland’s Festival of Lights is quickly becoming a must-do event for the holidays! It’s held the Wednesday after Thanksgiving each year in Downtown, bringing hometown fun and community involvement to Loveland!

Come out Wednesday, November 29, 2017, from 5-8 p.m. for this year’s festivities-  including the lighting of the 24-foot Christmas tree that stands in front of the Rialto Theater!

Activities will include:

5 p.m. at the Loveland Museum/Gallery- The Loveland Choral Society will sing a variety of songs of the holidays, and a barbershop quartet will lead a caroling parade to Rialto Square and the main activities on 4th Street, in anticipation of the tree lighting. Be one of the first 500 attendees at the museum/gallery to get a glow-candle and glow in the dark face painting!

6 p.m. at Rialto Square and along 4th Street- The Festival of Lights - Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will arrive as the countdown for the tree lighting approaches!  Throughout the event, there’ll be hot chocolate, s’mores, horse-drawn carriage rides, princesses, breweries/wineries, live music and MORE!

The Festival of Lights will also be collecting needed items/donations during the event to benefit the 137 Homeless Connection program with the House of Neighborly Service.
