Loveland Mother of 8 Dies From Injuries in Poudre Canyon Crash
40-year-old Jaime Allen died Sunday from injuries she sustained in a motorcycle crash in Poudre Canyon on Saturday, according to a report from The Coloradoan.
Colorado State Patrol said Jaime was on the back of a motorcycle driven by Brent Machado of Windsor on Saturday traveling east. Machado made a mistake on a left-hand turn when Allen was thrown from the motorcycle. Machado was declared dead at the scene.
State Patrol said speed and alcohol are being investigated as a cause of the accident.
Allen has 8 children according to a GoFundMe page. The fund has been set up to help cover medical bills and funeral costs.
