My wife and I are lifetime members of the Midtown Arts Center in Fort Collins. It was one of the best investments we ever made.  It is always a wonderful evening and Saturday's production of "Legaly Blonde" was no exception.  I have seen better shows at the former Carousel Dinner Theatre, but I don't think I have ever laughed harder than I did Saturday night and I am not a big laugh-out-loud kind of guy.

The show is very similar to the movie, but there are a few subtle changes. Oh, and this is a musical, so there is lots of singing.  My favorite song, by far, was "There! Right There!" or as I like to call it, "Gay or European?" Funny stuff!

There were a number of stand out performances. Elle Woods and her dog Bruiser Woods were just right.  My favorite character was Paulette, Elle's friend from the beauty shop.  The funniest moment for me came from Kyle, the UPS guy. Even though it was a very small part, it's what I remember most about the show.  Our waiter was Samuel. He played the part of Warner Huntington III.  He did a great job on stage and attending to our every need all night.

Overall, "Legally Blonde" was a very very fun show.  I would recommend you check it out before it leaves the Midtown Arts Center May 19th. Shrek Starts May 30th.
