Larimer County Sheriff’s Office to Increase Presence in Loveland Schools
The Larimer County Sheriff's Office has announced a new School Marshal Program, which will be providing a dedicated law enforcement presence in schools in the Thompson School District. This program is an effort to offer an extra layer of protection for schools, students and staff.
According to a press release from the LCSO: There will be two public forum meetings, April 14th and 15th to further explain the program. The meeting on April 14th is at Berthoud Elementary School from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and the meeting on April 15th is at Coyote Ridge Elementary School, also from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
The School Marshal Program is slated to begin late in April 2014.
