Larimer County Reports One New Death, 11 New COVID-19 Outbreaks
On Thursday (Jan. 14), the Larimer County Department of Health added one new death and 11 new COVID-19 outbreaks to the county's COVID-19 dashboard, which has kept track of all COVID-19 statistics in Larimer County since the beginning of the pandemic.
A 69-year-old Fort Collins man died on Wednesday (Jan. 13), bringing the county's total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic to 177.
There have now been 20 COVID-19 related deaths in Larimer County since January 1.
In addition to reports of a new death, 11 new outbreaks were reported in the county; there were 290 total outbreaks listed on the county's COVID-19 dashboard on Thursday - an increase of 11 from the previous day.
Of the 290 outbreaks, 78 are currently active, while 212 have been deemed resolved.

Larimer County also added 117 new COVID-19 cases to its cumulative tally on Thursday.
As of Friday (Jan. 15), there have been 16,396 cases of COVID-19 in Larimer County since March.
Larimer County remains a high-risk area with a two-week positivity rate of 7% and an overall prevalence rate of 389 cases per 100,000 residents.
