The Larimer County Department of Health recorded 3 new deaths on Monday (Dec. 28), bringing the county's total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic to 132.

December remains the deadliest month of the pandemic for Larimer County, as 48 people have lost their lives to COVID-19 during this month alone.

The Larimer County Department of Health also recorded 204 new COVID-19 cases on Monday; the county's cumulative total of cases since March currently stands at 14,312.

Among the 204 new cases, 96 were found in Fort Collins, 81 in Loveland, and another 27 were spread across Berthoud, Estes Park, Johnstown, Wellington, Windsor and Lyons.

The youngest among the new cases was a 2-year-old Fort Collins boy, and the oldest case was a 94-year-old Loveland woman.

While several county risk factors are on the decline, Larimer County remains a high risk area.
