Larimer County Adds No COVID-19 Cases To Cumulative Total Monday

Although there were no new confirmed COVID cases added to Larimer County's cumulative total on Monday (Nov. 16), the county is far from being in the clear of this pandemic.

It was just last Sunday (Nov. 15) that the Larimer County Department of Health reported over 200 new COVID-19 cases, pushing the county's cumulative total over 6,600 cases since March.

The Loveland Reporter-Herald said the county's two week positivity percentage rose by a half percent Monday, from 10.1% on Sunday to 10.6%.

Additionally, the number of new COVID cases per 1,000 people over the past two weeks increased on Monday, rising from 686 on Sunday to 723 on Monday.

Despite some of the rises in Larimer County's COVID stats, there were also percentage drops, specifically regarding hospitalizations in the county. Hospital utilization dropped on Monday to 72% from a previously reported 79%, and the number of hospitalized patients dropped from 63 to 60 on Monday.

The number of COVID-19 related deaths in Larimer County held steady at 63. The number of outbreaks remained at 118. The county's outbreak total is updated by the state every Wednesday, according to the Larimer County COVID-19 dashboard.
