According to the Help Find Kaylee Russell Facebook group, numerous friends and family have reported that Kaylee's vehicle has been found. Kaylee's mother, Rebecca Russell, said that the search has been called off.

An admin of the Facebook page, Josh Schweitzer, gave an update at 2:47 p.m.

We're extremely sad to say that Kaylee has been found North of cr-74 and Colorado Boulevard. Thank you all for your prayers, efforts, love and support. Please continue to pray for the family as they grieve for their beloved.

Northern Colorado law enforcement agencies and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation are searching for a missing 20-year-old woman from Evans, Colorado.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the Evans Police Department are seeking any information that could assist in locating Kaylee Russell, who was last seen on Sunday, November 30, 2025, near Highway 402 and Interstate 25 at the Loveland/Johnstown Park-N-Ride.

The Search for Kaylee Russell in Northern Colorado

Kaylee Russell was last seen wearing a black hoodie, tan pants, and brown slippers. She was driving a black 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan with Colorado license plate 7880903, with a Greeleynissan.com sticker on the rear windshield.

Large Emergency Response Spotted Near Hwy 402

At approximately 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, I was driving north on Weld County Road 13. At the intersection of Highway 402, there was a police and EMS presence, and it appeared officers were looking at the pond on the southeast corner of the intersection.

According to comments on the Johnstown/Milliken Discussion page on Facebook, rescue boats, numerous firetrucks, and ambulances were on scene, and traffic was being redirected from the intersection of County Road 13 and Highway 402.

Townsquare Media has reached out to the Johnstown Police Department for comment. The only comment at this time is that law enforcement is currently conducting an active investigation. It is unclear if this presence is connected to the search for Kaylee Russell.

UPDATE: The Johnstown Police Department has informed the community that it is currently working on an active investigation for a possible car accident.
