If your family is anything like mine, then the television show "Jeopardy!" was huge in your house!

Right around dinner time, my parents would take control of the tv and put the program on in the background while we were eating.

Every now and then one of us would shout out the answers and hope we were right.

 "Jeopardy!" originally premiered in 1984, with the late legendary host Alex Trebek. For over 40 years, the show has been a constant in America's living room.

They've covered all sorts of topics from trivia, literature and even internet celebrities.

Another version of the show, 'Pop Culture Jeopardy!' is hosted by SNL's Colin Jost.

Episodes are currently streaming on Prime Video.

He's great and all, but I personally like the original better.

In 2025, the only real difference in the original show is the host. After the passing of Alex Trebek, former contestant Ken Jennings took over the role.
