Jefferson County Starts Using the Blue Envelope Program

Jefferson County Sheriff's Office announced this week that the Blue Envelope Program will be used in this Colorado county. Items that would help citizens interact with first responders are available to the public, free of charge. These items can let first responders know quickly that the person in the Blue Envelope Program needs extra assistance when communicating.

Free items for those who need help communicating include:

• Blue envelopes
• Bracelets
• Bumper stickers
• Buttons
• Seatbelt cover
• Key chain
• Lanyard
