How Do Colorado's Bordering States Match Up?

If we dig deeper, we'll find that about half of the states that share a border with Colorado are ranked higher on the list as far as IQ is concerned.

For example, Wyoming, Kansas, and Nebraska were all found to have higher average IQ levels than the Centennial State with respective of 102.4, 102.8, and 102.3.

However, Coloradans' average IQ scores are higher than those in Utah, New Mexico, and Oklahoma, with respective scores of 101.1, 95.7, and 99.3.

If we look at the entire country, the five states with the highest IQ scores are Minnesota, Vermont, North Dakota, New Hampshire, and once again, Massachusetts tops the list of average IQ scores in the nation.

At the bottom of the list, we find our aforementioned neighbor New Mexico, Hawaii, California, Louisiana, and the state with the lowest average IQ in 2025 is Mississippi.
