Colorado summer is here, and there's so much to do. Food festivals, fairs and community gatherings galore entertain from the mountains to the plains and from small towns to our largest cities.

Music fills every downtown gathering spot and park in Northern Colorado all summer. Greeley, Loveland, Windsor and Fort Collins all feature one or more nights of regular local performances. Scroll on to find out what's happening each week.

Saturday, July 13

  • Northern Colorado Relay for Life, 4 p.m., University High School, 6525 18th St., Greeley. Relay For Life brings the community together to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against every cancer. Find more info about the American Cancer Society event here.
  • Comedian Tom Papa will perform at 6 and 8:30 p.m. at Loveland's Rialto Theater. Tickets and more information are available at rialtotheatercenter.org.

  • Greeley Arts Picnic is at 802 10th Ave, Lincoln Park. This free event features artisans from across the country, food and entertainment. Attendees 21 and older can listen to free center-stage music from the Greeley Chamber Orchestra while enjoying a cold beverage in the shade in the Beer Garden. A dozen acts will perform on two stages: a dance group, country music, big band, blues and rock. More at artspicnic.com.

  • Rick Springfield, 7:30 p.m. at Greeley's Union Colony Civic Center. Tickets $58-$98. Postmodern Jukebox is equal parts time-traveling musical variety show and career-launching talent platform, featuring a cast of performers from their wildly popular YouTube channel.
