You Can Make New Money With Your Old Toys With ‘The Toy Scout’ in Fort Collins This Week

With the ways thing are costing more and more across Colorado lately, having an opportunity to make some extra cash sounds great. August 12 through 15, 2026 in Fort Collins, we have that opportunity.

Where/When Will 'The Toy Scout' Be in Fort Collins in the Summer of 2026?

It wasn't on my radar, but when our station began airing commercials about the event, it did catch my attention. Then, I received an email from a listener asking about the commercial/event, and I thought others might be curious, so I decided to write up an article about "The Toy Scout" coming to Fort Collins.

The event, where Joel Magee and team take a look at what people bring, and hopefully buy those items, will be at Fairfield Inn & Suites (off I-25 and Harmony) at 3520 Timberwood Drive. He'll be there at these times:

• August 12 - 14 (10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. each day.)
• Saturday, August 15 (9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)

They're Not Just Interested in Toys at the Fort Collins "Toy Scout" Event

Yes, The Toy Scout and team will be looking for toys - from the '80s and older: "Nintendo games, Star Wars items, Hot Wheels, BB guns," etc.; they'll also be taking a look at old class rings, gold jewelry and gold coins. Have an old lunch box (like "The 6 Million Dollar Man?) Bring it; you never know.

It must be fun to travel the country, meeting people and checking out the items they bring. Even better: when he/they get to make someone's day with a big offer on what they've brought.
