Colorado Has a New ‘Bodega’ Market and It’s Exactly Where One Was Needed

When you think of Colorado grocery stores, you think of King Soopers and Safeway, for the most part. Downtown Loveland does have a Safeway, and now a great little market, a bodega. Finally.

For years, Lovelanders have talked about how there has been a need for a little place to "pop into" in Downtown to get milk, bread, some laundry detergent; the "what not." Now, one has finally opened.

Sure, Loveland has a Safeway in the middle of Downtown, but this new bodega is great for Lovelanders living closer to the southern part of Downtown; areas such as The Foundry and residential areas south of Fourth Street.

Where is this new small market in Downtown Loveland?

It's on the west end of Fourth Street, near AIMS Community College and right next to Satori Tattoo; It's Jack Jack's

I, for one, have been one pushing for this kind of place on Fourth Street, for a long time. When the Reporter-Herald had the news about Jack Jacks "soft opening," I had to get over there to check them out.

What used to be at this location in Downtown Loveland?

For at least a couple of years, it was, Willow Shaper, a place that had modern metaphysical and mystical things; things for witchcraft. Before that, it was a Christian Science Reading Room, for many, many years.

What are the hours of Jack Jack's in Downtown Loveland?

According to the Reporter-Herald, they're going to start out being open 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. every day, but that could change. Either way, It's a fun little spot, to pop into for some necessities, a cup of coffee, some cigarettes, some candy, and a lot more.
