The Denver Broncos 2025 season could be one of their best in recent years, as Bo Nix moves into his second season and Head Coach Sean Payton moves into his third.

Who Will the Denver Broncos Play This Year, and When?

2025 will mark the Denver Broncos 65th year of football; first in the AFL and later a three-time Super Bowl Champion team in National Football League. Generations of players and fans have enjoyed (for the most part) what the Broncos bring to the field.

Sean Payton became the Head Coach of the Broncos in 2023. His first season, with Russell Wilson as QB, the team went 8-9. The second season, with Bo Nix, saw the team go 10-7.

The Broncos will play 17 games for the 2025-2026 season, as all the other teams do, nine at Mile High and eight on the road. One of the road games will be "across the pond" in London, on Oct 12 against the Jets. The Jets' quarterback when they start the season will be Justin Fields, who they acquired from Pittsburgh.

While the Broncos will play 17 games, they'll only face 14 opponents, as they'll be taking on the Chargers, Chiefs, and Raiders, each twice throughout the season. It was fun during the 2024 season when Denver won both those games against the Raiders. "Raiders suck," I can hear my brother saying.

Versus the 14 opponents for the 2025 season, the Broncos are 315-320-5. The Raiders and the Chiefs have beaten the Broncos 73 times, each; but the Broncos have beaten the Charges 73 times. Of the NFC teams that Denver will face, one has the team's number, having beaten them in nine of their 14 meetings.
