Is This Upcoming Video Game Set in Colorado?

The game which is set to be released in early 2017 for the Playstation 4 console has some oddly familiar resemblances to our state of Colorado. The game is called Horizon Zero Dawn which is a role playing game set in a post apocalyptic world  where robots rule earth and the remaining humans have receded back into tribal roots. Those mountains look a lot like this Location in Colorado.

If that doesn't start to convince you, how about this one? In Colorado Springs there is a memorial called Pikes Peak Range Riders Memorial... Looks like the same two cowboys in the game, right?

Out on the western slopes of Colorado there is a National Park called Colorado National Monument, which looks almost identical to the screenshot from the game above.

As a Denver Native and a photographer, I know exactly where this location is. The river running in the bottom right of the screenshot... That would be I-25. The ruins to the left of the character? Mile High Stadium! Take a peek.

I am not much of a gamer, but I think I might just have to cough up the $$$ and buy a PS4 and this game when it comes out! Check out the trailer for the game as well!
