Interactive Map Shows Why Fort Collins Area Got “F” for Social Distancing
Colorado has had some of the strictest Coronavirus restrictions, however the rating for the state overall is a grade "D-", according to the company "UnaCast" who created an interactive scoreboard that's updated daily.
The UnaCast interactive scorecard measures social distancing (or lack thereof) and helps consumers "understand the efficacy of social distancing initiatives at the local level".
Below are the grades for some Colorado counties. Weld county received a "D-", and Larimer county received an "F".
There are three deep dives of information for social distancing through UnaCast:
1. Change in Average Mobility
2. Change in Non-Essential Visits
3. Differences in Encounter Density
Each county received its own grade, you can see the full ratings for each county below:
According to the World Health Organization and the CDC, social distancing is currently the most effective way to slow the spread of COVID-19.
You can use the interactive map here. It is updated daily.
