At more than 40 percent, CDOT is trying to change that number with something you could get for free... A phone breathalyzer. If you live in Weld County, you could be eligible to get a phone breathalyzer. CDOT wants to see if this new technology will be effective in reducing the number of repeat offenders. Researchers will study if these new breathalyzers will influence behavior. Other counties eligible for the program include Jefferson and Adams.


You can apply for the program at and at least 200 applicants will be chosen.
