The Colorado Department of Transportation has announced closures for both Interstate 25 and Highway 34 in Loveland starting October 13.

The full closure of Interstate 25 will begin on Tuesday, October 13, from 9 p.m. through 5 a.m. and Wednesday, October 14, from 9 p.m. through 5 a.m. During this closure, both north and southbound traffic will be diverted up and over Interstate 25 to Exit 257, Highway 34.

The westbound closure of Highway 34 will be diverted onto Interstate 25 northbound to Crossroads and back south on Interstate 25 to westbound Highway 34.

The eastbound closure of Highway 34 will be diverted onto Interstate 25 southbound to Colorado 402 and back north on Interstate 25 to eastbound Highway 34.

The closures are required to set girders on the new portion of the bridge of Highway 34 for the I-25 North Express Lanes Johnstown to Fort Collins Project.
