It's become battle of the sexes in the building here. Man buns have created a rift between us. Read that sentence again, out loud.
'Man buns' or 'top knots' — whatever you want to call them — are becoming more common on the streets of Northern Colorado. Hey, you love 'em or hate 'em but a middle ground doesn't seem to exist in this debate.
I'll tell you how I feel about them with a series of questions for this stock photo model. Are you single? What are you doing later? Are you emotionally available? Do you even have pants on in this photo?

"I think they look nice, but they're "too pretty" for me.
Like, if I was dating a guy with a man bun, I'd always feel like I'm being judged because his hair is just so much damn sexier than mine. It would be too stressful to have to put extra work in to look better than him and his man bun. And then I'd just end up binge eating Twinkies on the couch because that's such an unobtainable goal.
If it's just a man with a bun, then I'm cool with that. Easy on the eyes.
