New data by Raleigh Reality shows which states have the highest and lowest average price for homeownership. The data shows that Colorado has the sixth-highest average in the nation. The average price for a home in Colorado is currently $546,000 for 2025.

The average price for a home in Colorado is $126,800 more compared to the average across the country.
This is an average across the state. We know that a home is going to cost more in Denver than in Loveland. We also know that a home in Loveland is going to cost more than in Pueblo. This is an average for the entire state.
Will Colorado Home Prices Really Hit $763,000 by 2030?
Are we on track for homes to rise to $763,000 by 2030? I am not a real estate or economy expert, but I am going to speculate and say no. However, housing prices are continuing to rise.

Last year, we found that the median listing price in Larimer County is $597,200, which is more than the state average for 2025.
I am planning on buying a home in Larimer or Weld County someday, so I am just continuing to let that sticker price sink in.
