We know it's going to be a blast. We know there's going to be a ton of yummy food, lots of cowboys and cowgirls, lots of live music, lots of rides, lots of games and most importantly, lots of good people and great times.

The 100th Greeley Stampede kicks off tonight (June 23rd) and before you head out there are few things you need to know to make sure you have the optimal experience at the Stampede.

One of the biggest questions my wife has when we go anywhere is the bag policy and what it's all about and usually I have no clue so I thought I'd just save you the trouble of you having to look it up:

Normal security measures will be in place at the Stampede for everything but there will be some additional measures for the Jon Pardi show on July 1st with Niko Moon.

This according to the Greeley Stampede:

This concert will require random wanding of guests as an additional safety measure. In addition to the standard restricted items, firearms of any kind will not be allowed in the arena. Before coming to the concert, please be sure that you are not carrying any restricted items. Lockers will be available outside of the arena if needed to store any items you may have missed.

Ticket prices:

Kids 5 and Under are FREE

Ages 6-12--$2

Ages 13-60--$5

Age 61 and over--$2

Parking: Sure there is plenty of parking on the grounds but if you don't want to deal with that, there will be a shuttle service rolling during the Stampede and the rideshare which will be located at the 14th avenue entrance over by the splash park.

Parking is $10 if you pay in advance, $15 day of the event.

Ticket scalping: Don't trust anyone when it comes to buying tickets. Scalping is illegal but people still do it, unless you're getting your tickets at the Stampede box office or a Stampede affiliated ticket source, don't trust anyone.
