Paying to park is a pain in the neck, right? And, it's enough of an inconvenience that the City of Fort Collins doesn't want it to detour you from shopping downtown for the holidays and supporting small, local businesses. So, they're offering fee-free Saturdays.

According to a release from the City of Fort Collins, Starting Saturday, November 27, which is Small Business Saturday, Saturday parking will be free through January 1, 2022. This includes the Firehouse Alley Parking Structure, the Old Town Parking Structure and the Civic Center Parking Structure.

Bonus: In addition to the free Saturdays, we also get three free Fridays. No parking fees on Black Friday (Friday, November 26), Christmas Eve (Friday, December 24) and New Year's Eve (Friday, December 31).

'Parking in structures is always free on Sundays and City holidays,' the City of Fort Collins reminds us. 'On other days, parking is free for the first hour and $1 each hour after in all structures.'
