Air Show Schedule and Timing

Event Schedule for Saturday & Sunday (September 20th and 21st)

The schedule is expected to be the same for both days:

Parking Opens: 8:00 a.m.

Gates Open: 9:00 a.m.

Flying Begins: 10:30 a.m.

Note: Air shows are subject to last-minute schedule changes. Ticket holders will receive the official schedule via the email used for purchase.

Road Closures and Traffic Updates for the Great Colorado Air Show 2025

Pre-Show Closures – Friday, September 19

  • Boyd Lake Avenue will be shut down east of the airport, stretching from just north of Kendall Parkway to East County Road 30, between 10 AM and 5PM, according to the Coloradan. 

Show Day Closures – Saturday & Sunday, September 20–21

  • Boyd Lake Avenue will close again from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

  • Earhart Road will be restricted to vehicles with valid show tickets only.

Each ticket is valid one person per day. and re-entry is allowed as long as you have a wristband and ticket.

Parking Options at the Great Colorado Air Show

  • General Parking: Free, available on-site.
  • VIP Parking: Available for purchase for closer access.
  • ADA Parking: Available near the entrance; state-issued ADA placard required.
