Throughout the years, I have discovered that I have been a good, bad, and moderate neighbor. When I was in college, I was a bad roommate. I will let you fill in those lines.
For the majority of my adult life, I have mostly kept to myself. However, things have been different since I moved into the home that I currently reside in.
Fort Collins Neighborhood Changed My Perspective
I live in a Fort Collins neighborhood. I have neighbors on each side that are dramatically different.

I have never talked to one neighbor. He isn't a friendly guy. I always wave, but I quickly learned that he preferred to keep to himself.
I have a great relationship with my other neighbor. My girlfriend and I have them over at our house; we hang out in our backyards, our dogs play together, and we watch each other's homes when we are away.
They are definitely friends that I trust.
