I'm sure many of you are thinking, what the heck is a Maker? Well, this isn't just one person, this has become a movement, a culture, and it is all about DIY. The Makers can range from professional to HAM radio personalities. You will see the typical interests of engineering such as electronics, robotics, 3D printing as well as more traditional activities such as metalworking, woodworking, and traditional arts and crafts. This culture definitely stressing a cut and paste approach to put your own twist on the projects or technologies you are working on. Who is a Maker? YOU can be a Maker, that's the point. Everyone can do it at any age and anywhere!

The NoCo Mini Maker Faire will give you an opportunity to see up close what a Maker really does. There will be over 200 makers from inventors to tinkerers, artists to kinetic creators. Saturday and Sunday the Faire will have an amazing array of talented creators from all over the Rocky Mountains. Here are a few: Fun with Pinball, soldering with Spark Fun, Epilog laser engraving and Mad Scientists and exciting hands-on Combat Robots, a progressive sculpture build from Uncle Bennys, Rover Rally races and so much more. You just have to come out to fully understand the meaning of being a Maker. Bring the kids, it's family-friendly!
