A new era for Colorado State football is upon us and we couldn't be happier and more proud to be a part of it.

We are excited not only for a fresh start for CSU Rams football but also to be your official home for Colorado State Rams football. This year, you can catch every game, home and away, on K99, a Townsquare Media radio station.

Oh yeah, we're about to be decked out from head to toe in green and gold as we come up on the opening day for the team when they travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan, to take on the Wolverines on Sept 3.

That game in Michigan will be followed the next weekend on Sept. 10, with the home debut for new CSU head coach Jay Norvell.

There are a lot of new things and new faces involved with the 2022 edition of Colorado State Rams football and not just the head coach.

There will be a few new and important faces on the field with the Colorado State Rams.

Who are the key new players to look out for on the Colorado State roster this year?

Key players in key positions that Coach Norvell brought with him to Fort Collins from Nevada include quarterback Clay Millen and wide receivers Melquan Stovall and Tory Horton.

Offensively, this is going to be a completely different style and look with a high-powered passing game, something that hasn't been the case here in a while.

On the defensive side of the ball, while there have been some losses, namely Scott Patchan, there is plenty of talent returning, including linebackers Cam'ron Carter and Dequan Jackson, who is on the Bednarik Award preseason watch list.

It looks to be a fresh and exciting season, and that's exactly what this area deserves, a great football program that we can be proud of and excited to watch. The season gets underway Sept. 3 in Michigan, followed by the home opener the following week against Middle Tennessee.

What channel is CSU football on?

CSU definitely gets some TV time this year (see the schedule and channels in the image below). Even if you're watching on TV, we encourage you to turn down the volume on the television and listen to our LOCAL broadcasters call the action live on K99 for every game, home and away.

Where do I buy Colorado State rams football tickets? How much are CSU football tickets?

Colorado State University makes it super easy to get to Canvas Stadium to experience the excitement yourself with a variety of options and season ticket packages. Single-game seats start at $29 to $50. Premium seats can reach $300.

Where is the parking for CSU football games?

One of the things that can be frustrating is figuring out where to park for games. If you don't mind walking a few blocks, there are plenty of lots surrounding the stadium, but sometimes, depending on the game, they may be sold out unless you get there super early.

Personally, I have a couple of lots I go to for every game. One parking lot I like is just south of the stadium on Prospect in a little church parking lot. There's also a lot on Shields, just west of the stadium. Both are usually reasonably priced and convenient.

Here's a little go-to parking guide to help you when it comes to parking and the rules for where and where not to park on game days.
