The Colorado State Rams seemed to have found themselves over the past 3 weeks. After going through a brutal first month of the season that saw them lose every game along with a whole bunch of players to the transfer portal, the team seems to have come together.

It all started with the game in Nevada in Coach Jay Norvell's homecoming where things got chippy pregame and continued on the field with a defensive dominant performance, then came the Utah State game back at home and although the game ended in a very disappointed loss, there was improvement, especially on the defensive side of the ball and that carried them to another defensive battle and win against Hawaii this past week.

Will that carry over to the Boise St game this weekend? Only time will tell but one thing is for certain, the toughness of this team both physically and mentally is something to be proud of and appreciate.

The two main factors in this nice 3 game stretch has been the defense and the bruising running of Avery Morrow, the junior running back from Seattle who transferred to Colorado State from Nevada with Jay Norvell. This kid is special.

Morrow has averaged about 135 yards a game over that 3 game stretch while the defense hasn't allowed more than 17 points in any of those games.

They'll face a tough test against Boise St who themselves are on a 3 game winning streak and one more caveat to this matchup, they've played 11 times since 2011 and Boise St has come out on top all 11 times.

This week's matchup will take place on the blue turf of Boise St with a 5pm kickoff.
