Free Admission to Colorado’s National Parks Aug. 25th – 28th
The National Park Service is celebrating its 100th birthday this year and because of it, you will be able to get into Colorado's parks and monuments for free.
Thursday, August 25, 2016, through Sunday, August 26, 2016, you are encouraged to help the National Park Service celebrate by visiting some of Colorado's most spectacular national parks for free.
Some of the parks you can visit fee free:
Rocky Mountain National Park
Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park
Mesa Verde National Park
Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve
The Centennial State is also home to eight National Monuments that will have free admission, and several areas that are managed by the National Park Service will be taking part in the free admission days as well.
