Last week, a concrete truck veered off the road at the Narrows on Highway 14 in Poudre Canyon. Thankfully, the driver of the concrete truck was able to get out of the cab of the truck.

Larimer County Sheriff's Office Emergency Services were dispatched to assist with Poudre Canyon Fire. When Officials arrived on the scene, the driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The recovery efforts of the concrete truck were underway utilizing four heavy wreckers from private companies to pull the truck from the banks of the river. Hazmat teams from the Poudre Fire Authority and Colorado State Patrol were called in to protect the river during the recovery efforts.

Breanna Munoz says that she is the stepdaughter of the driver who commented on the post. "For anyone who is wondering: He's okay! He suffered a broken pelvis in three different places and has plates and screws in his pelvis now."
