Fort Collins Police Befriend Lost Stuffed Bunny and Win Internet’s Hearts
It's amazing how the small things can bring so many smiles. Fort Collins Police Services shared out a photo of a bunny they found and they'd taken care of it, while waiting for its owner to come forward,
When there are stories in the news about police acting poorly, here comes a little story about them being kind, and human. Will the bunny find its way back to its owner, or will the FCPS just inherited a new mascot?

So the story goes, officers found this stuffed bunny in Old Town Fort Collins on January 29, 2023, and brought it back to the station. Their Facebook post about the bunny, how they found it and provided it with some hot chocolate and a tour, seemingly brought the internet to its collective knees with the "cuteness."
The post was shared over 400 times, while users commented and commented on how much they enjoyed the post. Most did, anyway.. some were pretty snarky about it.

With luck, the bunny will make its way back into the loving arms of its person. I can't imagine it will take long, as many people have seen the post and word is spreading of this "lost blue bunny." I'll bet that when this bunny's person does show up to be reunited, they'll be offered some hot chocolate, too. Hopefully, we'll be notified that the bunny has gone back to its person, and the bunny's name.
In the meantime, take a look at some of the comments that they received:
