This week, support has rallied around the oldest bar in Fort Collins, a staple in the Old Town community: The Town Pump, which first opened downtown in 1909.

A tiny bar with a big impact, the Town Pump has been my one-stop shop for atomic cherries...and everyone else's place for, ya know, normal drinks.

Due to the pandemic and multiple shutdowns, this historic bar is asking the community for help: in the next 7 days, they'd like to raise $75,000. This, according to the below Facebook post, will cover things like rent, invoices, payroll, and more.

"We are currently operating at 20% capacity," the Town Pump says in the post, "and anyone that knows anything about business, knows that’s a death sentence."
