The annual Fort Collins Martin Luther King Jr. Community March and Celebration is Monday, January 16, 2017 at 11:00 am in Downtown Fort Collins. Meet at Old Town Square and join the march to the CSU campus. The program will include:

  • Welcome by Dr. Ray Black
  • Recognition of March Leaders - Dr. Ray Black, Rachel Griffith, Brittany Otter, and Nate Wiley
  • Kick-Off Speaker
  • Community March

Free Transportation will be available back to Old Town

CSU Celebration

The MLK Celebration at CSU will begin at 11:45 am in the Lory Student Center - Ballroom.  The CSU welcome will be conducted by University President Dr. Tony Frank. A mayoral proclamation  will be read by the Honorable Wade Troxel, Mayor Fort Collins. The event will feature Poudre School District Winners from the Essay/Poetry Contest. The theme of this year's MLK Celebration is "Justice Now".
