It was announced earlier this year that Forever 21 locations across Colorado were going to shut down this year. Locations in Broomfield, Lone Tree, Thornton, Littleton, and Fort Collins will be closing all locations once they sell the items they have.

We have reason to believe that the Forever 21 locations will be shutting down on different dates.

Why Forever 21 Is Closing in Colorado

Forever 21 is closing due to bankruptcy. The once-popular clothing store has been operating for 41 years.

According to an official statement from the company, rising costs and competition from other businesses in other countries have made it impossible for them to keep their locations open.

Due to these reasons, Forever 21 filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and will be shutting down all locations.

Fort Collins Location Closing Details

We did not know when the Fort Collins location was going to close its doors for good. All we previously knew was their location in the Foothills Mall was closing at some point.

The Assistant Operations Manager of the Fort Collins location posted in a local Facebook group that she is looking for work and her last day will be on April 30.

Closure Timeline for All Colorado Stores

It looks like most if not all, Forever 21 locations will close before May 1. According to USA Today, the company will vacate all stores before May 1.

We do not have confirmation for the stores in Broomfield, Lone, Tree, Thornton, and Littleton, we only have a direct word from an employee in Fort Collins.
