Food Chain Location in Northern Colorado Closed For Good
Everyone has certain places that are their go-to spots for food. You likely have a favorite place for tacos, another one for hamburgers, and a spot to go to for ice cream. If any of these places were to close, it would ruin your day, and you would like be devastated. Sometimes, food chains close, which can be nice cause there are other locations around, and sometimes local places close that can't be replaced. Sadly, a food chain in Northern Colorado has closed a location, and many are wondering why.
Firehouse Subs Closes in Loveland

It is always sad to see a beloved food chain close a location, especially if it is one you often visit and when it is the closest one to your home or work. The good news is, when a chain closes, there is likely another in the area, so you can still enjoy it, but may have to drive a little further to get it. Recently, Firehouse Subs in Loveland, located at 1395 Sculptor Drive, closed, and the sign has already been removed. The good news, though, is there is still a location in Loveland, located at 6120 E Crossroads Boulevard. This is a little further away for many in Loveland, but when you crave something, a little drive is worth it. Sadly, the closing has put employees out of a job, but why did the store close?
Why Did Firehouse Subs Close in Loveland?

Firehouse Subs is based out of Jacksonville, Florida, and has over 1,400 locations nationwide. Sadly, over the last few years, they have seen some struggles. Some owners in the franchise filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March in Utah and Idaho, leading to the closure of locations and the selling of others. Over the last few years, select stores have been closing across the country, and as of right now, there is no news on whether more Northern Colorado locations will be closing. There are currently 7 locations in the area, with the remaining one in Loveland, as mentioned above, three in Fort Collins, one in Timnath, one in Windsor, one in Johnstown, and one in Greeley.
