Female Passenger Died in Suspected Loveland DUI Crash
A female passenger died early Friday morning after being ejected from a car in a suspected DUI crash.
She was pronounced dead on the scene at the intersection S. Taft Avenue and Carlisle Drive. The incident occurred around 2:17 a.m.
The female was riding with driver 21-year-old Dylan Brown in a 2006 Toyota Tacoma.
The Tacoma ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a traffic pole.
Brown was transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. He was then arrested and charged with vehicular homicide and driving under the influence of alcohol.
The preliminary investigation indicate that alcohol and speed were contributing factors.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in the court of law. An arrest is merely an accusation of a crime by law enforcement.
