A Chicago-based restaurant chain known for its Chicago dogs, Italian Beef sandwiches, and cake milkshakes is already eyeing a second Colorado location before the first has opened its doors. Portillo's is looking to expand even further out of the midwest and into Colorado. Initially, Portillo's had a sole location that would be in the state of Colorado. According to the Westword, the world-famous Chicago Dog chain is in the planning stages of a second location in the Denver Metro Area.

Chicago Based Portillo's is Coming to Colorado

Portillo's has expressed interest in expanding to other markets such as Atlanta, Las Vegas, San Antonio, and Colorado. It appears the Chicago Dog restaurant is going full steam ahead in the Denver Metro Area. The second Portillo's location could be located in Littleton as part of a new development at 700 West Mineral Avenue.

Site plans for Portillo's show the possibility of a 6,250-square-foot location with a 500-square-foot patio. For those who have never got to experience a Chicago Dog or an Italian Beef sandwich at Portillo's, you are certainly missing out. If the second location goes as planned, we Coloradans will have two Portillo's locations to choose from without ever having to leave the great state of Colorado.

Unlike the Seattle-born, moody coffeehouse vibe, Dunkin' retains its iconic pink and orange splashed upon a clean, ultra-modern slate.
