Popular Colorado Canyon Park Reinstates Timed Entry
Many Coloradans are already starting to make summer plans for the weekends with the family. One of the great things about living in Colorado is the endless adventures you can experience within the borders of our state.
From partaking in outdoor activities to exploring the great outdoors in the Rocky Mountains, there is something for everyone in Colorado during the summer months.

One popular state park that is usually jam-packed with people in the summer is doing things a bit differently. According to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, this Boulder County state park will need timed entry reservations for the summer months of 2025.

Timed-entry reservations for Saturdays, Sundays, and summer holidays can be made 30 days in advance and will be in effect starting May 1 through October 1. Reservations for Eldorado Canyon State Park cannot be booked at the main park entrance or visitor center.
