A Colorado town has been named one of the best places to live in the United States.

According to a study conducted by Stacker.com, Holly Hills, a suburb of Denver, is the second best place to live in the country.

To help with their rankings, Stacker compiled a list of the best places to live in every state using Niche’s 2020 rankings. Niche ranks places to live based on several factors, including the cost of living, educational level of residents, housing, and public schools.

Holly Hills, CO might not be a commonly known area, but this is not the first time the town has been recognized for being one of the best places to live - beating out better-known places like Denver, Boulder and Fort Collins.

Holly Hills has been highly regarded as one of best places to raise a family and to retire. While many homes in the area are on the older side, they are often spacious and easily accessible by light rail. According to Stacker, About 2,800 people live in Holly Hills, with a median household income of $132,955.

Out of the 50 places ranked on Stacker's list, only seven places were in the West. In comparison, eight Pennsylvania towns and cities made the list.
