Denver School Sends 4-Year-Old With Heart Defect To Disneyland
This is what it's all about right here. So many times in the news we see and hear stories about negative stuff and it can simply be depressing and mind numbing, but stories like this - and the young men and women that we have coming up and growing into adults doing wonderful things like this - are what keep me and my belief in humanity going.
Props to the students and staff at D'Evelyn High School in Denver who helped send a 4-year-old named Anna, who is a Make-A-Wish warrior, to the happiest place on Earth: Disney World.
And the big event to share with little Anna in the gymnasium was all sorts of awesome and sure to bring tears to all who see this. I know it did for me.
Hundreds of students filled the bleachers of the basketball court to cheer her on and celebrate with her on the big day.

Anna has four different congenital heart defects, and has already had three open-heart surgeries. Through Make-A-Wish Colorado, the school held multiple events this week to raise money and fulfill Anna's dream of visiting Disney World.
Well done all the way around from the Make-A-Wish crew who do so many things for so many kids and their families to D'Evelyn High School's students and staff.
This is truly a beautiful gesture for a little girl who is one of the strongest and cutest warriors ever.
