Denver Reaches 20-Year Record High Temp Tuesday
The Denver Metro area reached 76 degrees on Tuesday afternoon, the warmest it's been on that date since 1999.
The National Weather Service in Boulder tweeted that 76 degrees on November 17 ties the record high set 21 years ago. According to NOAA, the record high for November 17 in Boulder was 75 degrees in 1981, and the record low was 4 degrees, set in 1903.
So, yeah, maybe a little warmer than it should be this late in the fall. Brace yourselves, winter is coming this weekend, however, with rain and snow expected to start Friday evening.
