Denver Metro Area’s 10 Most Stolen Cars of 2020

2020 has been the year of the stolen truck in the Denver Metro Area. According to a tweet from the Lakewood Police Department, six of the top ten vehicles stolen in the Denver Metro Area were pickup trucks.

Stolen vehicles are often used is the commission of other crimes. These are the top 10 most stolen cars in the Denver Metro Area from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2020.

• 1997-2001  Honda CRV - 413 thefts
• 2011-2017 Hyundai Sonata - 460 thefts
• 1998-2005 and 2019 Ram 1500 - 493 thefts
• 1999-2006 Ford F-350 525 thefts
• 1995, 1997-1998, 2011-2014, and 2019 Ford F-150 - 561 thefts
• 1999-2007 GMC Sierra - 602 thefts
• 1999-2006 Ford F-250 - 923 thefts
• 1992-1997 Honda Accord - 924 thefts
• 1995-2000 Honda Civic - 956 thefts
• 1999-2007 Chevrolet Silverado - 1,145 thefts
