My Go-To Date Night Destinations in Northern Colorado

If you've been married for a long time, especially if you have kids, date nights are a must. Actually, having a conversation that doesn't have anything to do with SpongeBob SquarePants is what almost all couples are looking for.

Here are just a few of my husband's and my favorite Northern Colorado date night locations.

Fort Collins

Date night in Old Town Fort Collins is one of my favorite things. When we get a free night away, we love going to Sonny Lubick Steakhouse right on the main strip.

The steaks are perfectly cooked, and the specialty drinks can't be beat. Be sure to try the fried double cream brie. Perfectly crafted dessert with flavors of strawberry compote and Bijorn's honey, you'll love this sweet treat after your big meal.

Loveland

Door 222 food and drink not only has a crazy-good menu but also a very cool vibe. Reminiscent of an old-fashioned speakeasy, Door 222 is our go-to Loveland date night spot because their happy hour options are fire.

Be sure to try the appetizer menu options because you can't beat the short rib wontons and/or the crispy pork belly.

Greeley

Who says date night has to be all about the food and drink menu? Sometimes it's fun to do an actual activity, and you'll find just that at Greeley's own Stella's Pinball Arcade and Lounge.

See ball, arcade games, pinball, and air hockey are just some of the fun activities at Stella's. If you throw in a full restaurant and bar with classic favorites like buffalo wings, French fries, burgers, and desserts, you can't go wrong with this date night idea.
