CU Boulder Outlines a Plan For Back To School 2020

What is the biggest key to getting back to school this fall for CU Boulder students? Testing.

The university says their testing capacity is greater than what the state is currently providing, and that's what they'll rely on, since they can't expect students to stay away from Boulder. According to 9News, CU's provost Russell Moore said:

Even if we were to go fully remote, we know that because of May housing contracts, et cetera, that many students will end up showing up in Boulder anyway.

CU Boulder will rely on a back-to-school process that includes contact tracing, public awareness campaigns, wastewater testing, and safety training for students and faculty. They will also focus on monitoring large parties that normally occur on The Hill, an area of Boulder that houses thousands of students and usually attracts large crowds.
