Sunday at Lakewood Country Club, Colorado Golf Association’s Amateur Championship received a new champion and he was among the youngest winners ever.

It was Colorado State University’s Davis Bryant.

He was one of four players under the age of 20 to ever win the CGA Amateur since 2000, according to the CGA in a news release.

Bryant held the lead through all four rounds of the championship.

His 276 total was just one stroke better than UNC golfer Jack Castiglia, who received second place.
