If you're like me and counting the days until the Colorado State football hits the field and even better...we can be INSIDE the stadium watching them....great news.

According to CSU Football, their opening game against South Dakota State has been moved up one day to Friday Night September 3 to accommodate a national television audience as the game with be broadcast with CBS Sports. The game is now scheduled for an 7PM local kickoff.

As fans are welcomed back into the stadium, Colorado State University faculty and staff will also be able to claim two free tickets. Additional details on that program will be shared closer to kick off. The game is also designated as a Green Out as fans are encouraged to wear their green CSU apparel on Friday night under the lights.

Since I just moved here last September, I've never been able to attend a CSU game in person so this year is going to be fun for me (and my 6 year old) because he LOVES football.

The Rams will kick off the season with the first two games at Canvas Stadium as they welcome an SEC oppenent (Vanderbilt) in for a week 2 matchup and that game is set for 8PM.
