3 Colorado Communities Ranked Most Caring in Nation
We unfortunately hear a lot about how much Colorado is changing. Typically when I hear about change in Colorado, it has a negative connotation.
I see a lot of rankings and stories about how Colorado is changing for the worse. We live in a world where the bad outweighs the good. Let's take a moment here and focus on a huge win in Colorado.
Colorado Cities Rank on Most Caring List
WalletHub put together a list of the Most Caring Cities in America. Their goal was to identify the most compassionate cities and towns that help make our country so great. Here are some of the logistics that the team over at WalletHub considered.
The data set ranges from the share of sheltered homeless people to volunteering hours per capita to the share of income donated to charity.
Three Colorado Cities Were Named on the List
WalletHub announced the top 100. Three cities in the Centennial State were in the top 20. Here are those cities.
3 - Aurora, Colorado
Aurora was ranked the 20th most caring city in America. The highlight was it ranked very highly for caring in the workforce. Aurora employers definitely care about their employees.
2 - Denver, Colorado
Denver has its fair share of problems, but residents are trying their best to solve their major problems. Denver ranked third in the nation for caring for the vulnerable.
1 - Colorado Springs, Colorado
Colorado Springs was ranked the seventh most caring city in the nation. They ranked well in all categories.
No Other Colorado Cities Made the Top 100
I was surprised to see that no cities in Northern Colorado made the list. As a resident, I see examples of people taking care of one another daily, and residents are very compassionate and charitable here.
