Target has been one of the most popular stores in Colorado for quite some time.

Target is one of those stores that seem like they have everything you need… Plus, some things you didn’t know you needed. Target locations are typically open every day, but we recently learned that every Target in Colorado will shut down for one day in April. Here is why.

Reason for One-Day Closure of All Colorado Target Locations

According to multiple sources, including The Independent, all Target locations will be closed on April 20, also known as, Easter Sunday. Target will close all 2,000 stores in the nation as well.

Sam’s Club will also be closed on Easter Sunday. If you find yourself in a pickle trying to find candy for Easter baskets, you will have to go to another store.

But also, try your best to plan and avoid shopping at the last minute.

In other Target news, you may have noticed that Target locations in Colorado have been emptier than usual. That is largely due to the fact that there is a nationwide boycott of the company. Many Coloradans are boycotting Target due to President Trump’s anti-DEI policies.

Target rolled back their diversity, equality, and inclusion policies. Due to that, many Coloradans have been participating in the Target blackout.

The blackout began on March 5 and will continue through April 14.
